Internet Access and Educational Inequality: A Statistical Analysis of Regional and Pandemic-Driven Variations

Presenter: Bella Chen

In an era of rapid technological globalization, connection to the internet has become a fundamental determinant of success. Bella will be presenting her research on how although the internet has revolutionized learning, unequal distribution across socioeconomic groups has aggravated the education disparities. This paper draws on data from 216 countries, using regression analysis to describe the relationship between internet access and educational inequality to examine whether increased connectivity leads to learning outcomes.
